Single to double driveway widening on a 1930s semi-detached in Clontarf. Original single block paving in good condition. Extension added to the side to accommodate a second vehicle.
The Challenge
Matching 12-year-old existing blocks — original Kilsaran blocks were no longer in the same colour range.
Our Solution
Closest current Kilsaran match sourced — slightly different in fresh colour but advised that it would weather to a similar shade within 2–3 seasons. Extension sub-base dug to match existing depth. Extension blended with existing. Boundary wall section removed.
