Repair and re-jointing of an 8-year-old block paving driveway. Two sunken areas repaired, full driveway re-jointed. Minimal disruption — completed in a single day.
The Challenge
Two areas of sinking caused by depletion of sub-base under a tree root network. Homeowner wanted repair rather than full replacement.
Our Solution
Lift blocks in sunken areas — root barrier geotextile installed, sub-base topped up and re-compacted. Blocks relay and level. Full driveway re-jointed with kiln-dried sand. Surface swept and compacted.
